Can I get Roxio PhotoShow today?

Yes! As someone who has enjoyed Comcast PhotoShow in the past, you are eligible to upgrade to Roxio PhotoShow for just $29.99 — a savings of $10 off the regular price. Please note — your PhotoShow account is currently suspended and your online shows will be deleted on April 30, 2009. To preserve your content and regain access to your account, be sure to upgrade before April 30.

What if I don't want to buy Roxio PhotoShow?

If you decide not to upgrade, you can still view your PhotoShows on your PC using your installed PhotoShow software, but any shows you have posted online are now suspended, along with your online PhotoShow account. Your account and content will be kept in this suspended state until April 30, 2009, after which they will be permanently deleted.

You can preserve your content and regain access to your account by upgrading prior to April 30.

Why is Comcast no longer supporting PhotoShow?

Comcast has been providing the premium PhotoShow Deluxe software as a free benefit to High-Speed Internet customers. As of March 31, 2009, Comcast has discontinued support for the PhotoShow platform.

Why doesn't my Comcast PhotoShow Deluxe software work anymore?

As of March 31, 2009, all Comcast PhotoShow software has expired. If you have Comcast PhotoShow software installed on your PC, the following aspects of the service will no longer work:

  • Online sharing of photos and PhotoShows
  • Photo print, gift and DVD ordering
  • Your PhotoShow Circle website at photoshow.comcast.net

Why aren't my online shows visible anymore?

Effective March 31, 2009, all PhotoShow Circle accounts and online shows have been suspended. Both your account and your online shows will be permanently deleted on April 30, 2009.

You can regain access to your account and online shows by upgrading before April 30.

Why can't I log in to my PhotoShow Circle account?

Effective March 31, 2009, all PhotoShow Circle accounts and online shows have been suspended. Both your account and your online shows will be permanently deleted on April 30, 2009.

You can regain access to your account and online shows by upgrading before April 30.

Is it too late to upgrade to Roxio PhotoShow?

You can upgrade your PhotoShow service at any time before April 30, 2009. This will ensure that all your content stays intact and that your service is uninterrupted.

After April 30, your PhotoShow account, online content and galleries will be permanently deleted.

Can I still use my Comcast login to access PhotoShow?

As of March 31, you can no longer use your Comcast.net email address and password to access PhotoShow Deluxe and PhotoShow Circle. This login will also not work at PhotoShow.com.

If you decide to upgrade to Roxio PhotoShow, you'll be asked for your email address during the upgrade process. Be sure to provide the Comcast.net email address you've already been using to access PhotoShow. You will need to choose a new password.

How does the Roxio PhotoShow "subscription" work?

Roxio PhotoShow includes a year's subscription to the PhotoShow Premium Service at PhotoShow.com. Your subscription starts the day that you purchase your upgrade, and it lasts for one year. As a Comcast customer, you are eligible for a special discounted rate on the first year's subscription. After a year, your subscription will renew at the regular price ($39.99).

How is PhotoShow.com different from PhotoShow Circle?

Like PhotoShow Circle, PhotoShow.com is a website where you can share your PhotoShows with friend and family. You can arrange your shows into galleries (now called "channels"). In addition, you can create shows online at PhotoShow.com, without using the PhotoShow software! With a Premium account at PhotoShow.com, you'll have access to all the styles, music and clipart stickers found in the desktop software. And just like at PhotoShow Circle, your friends won't see any third-party ads when they come to view your shows.

Will my personal PhotoShow web URL change when I upgrade to Roxio PhotoShow?

When you upgrade to Roxio PhotoShow, your personal PhotoShow web URL will move from photoshow.comcast.net to www.photoshow.com. For example, if old PhotoShow URL was:

http://photoshow.comcast.net/jane_smith

Then your new URL will be:

http://www.photoshow.com/members/jane_smith

We'll make this change automatically for you when you upgrade. If you have bookmarked your old URL, be sure to update it.

Please note: There is a small possibility that your old URL will not be available when we move your site to www.photoshow.com. In this case, we will automatically change your URL to one that is available, such as:

http://www.photoshow.com/members/jane_smith_1

Again, we'll make this change for you automatically when you upgrade. If at any time you'd like to change your personal PhotoShow web URL, you can do this on the My Account page at PhotoShow.com.

Can I try out PhotoShow.com for free?

Yes! You are welcome to visit PhotoShow.com and browse the free service. You won't be able to log in with your Comcast.net email address, so if you'd like to create a free account at PhotoShow.com, use a different email address. (Note: If you decide to upgrade to Roxio PhotoShow, your Comcast.net email address will be enabled to log in at PhotoShow.com.)

Why am I getting an error message when I try to log on at PhotoShow.com?

If you have not upgraded to Roxio PhotoShow, you will not be able to access PhotoShow.com with your Comcast.net email address.

Is my version of Comcast PhotoShow eligible for the upgrade to Roxio PhotoShow?

If you have Comcast PhotoShow Deluxe 4 installed on your PC, you can upgrade to Roxio PhotoShow with the same PC. Your upgrade includes access to Roxio's PhotoShow 5 software, as well as the all-new PhotoShow 6. Both PhotoShow 5 and PhotoShow 6 will allow you to import all the PhotoShows on your hard drive that were created in Comcast PhotoShow Deluxe 4.

If you've been using an older version of PhotoShow (such as PhotoShow Deluxe 3), you are also eligible for the upgrade to Roxio PhotoShow. However, any PhotoShows that you created in this older version will not be able to be imported into Roxio PhotoShow.

I've never used PhotoShow before. Am I eligible for the special price on Roxio PhotoShow?

Yes! Roxio is making the discounted pricing on Roxio PhotoShow available to all Comcast customers, including those who have never used PhotoShow before. If you're a first-time user, just click the "Upgrade" button above to take advantage of this special deal. But don't delay- the discount will only be available for a limited time.

Where can I download the PhotoShow 5 and PhotoShow 6 software?

After you have upgraded your account, you can download your new PhotoShow software from the My Account page on PhotoShow.com. Also on the My Account page is your PhotoShow 5 license key, which you'll be asked to enter when you run the installer.

What's the difference between PhotoShow 5 and PhotoShow 6?

When you upgrade to Roxio PhotoShow, you'll get access to both PhotoShow 5 and PhotoShow 6 software.

PhotoShow 5 takes everything you love about PhotoShow Deluxe and adds more music, more styles, and great new features like burning shows to DVD. If you've been using Comcast PhotoShow Deluxe, we recommend that you install PhotoShow 5.

Your PhotoShow upgrade also includes the all-new Photoshow 6, a lightweight application that makes it easy for you to create and share great looking PhotoShows. You can install both PhotoShow 5 and PhotoShow 6 on your Windows PC.

When I upgrade my software, will my old shows be imported?

When you install PhotoShow 5, any shows created in PhotoShow 4 will automatically be imported during the install process.

If you install PhotoShow 6, you can also import your shows from PhotoShow 4. Here's how:

  • Install and launch the PhotoShow 6 application.
  • From the File menu, select Import PhotoShows...
  • In the dialog which appears, select a PhotoShow and click Import.
  • The show will be imported into PhotoShow 6 and saved as a .photoshow file in your My PhotoShows folder.

To learn more about importing and exporting shows, please see our Import/Export FAQ.

What are the system requirements for Roxio PhotoShow?

PhotoShow 5 and PhotoShow 6 require Windows 7, XP or Vista. Please see the Roxio support site for a full list of system requirements.

I'm not interested in upgrading to Roxio PhotoShow. How can I make sure that my PhotoShows are saved?

If you've been using PhotoShow Deluxe 4 and decide not to upgrade, you should be sure to export your PhotoShows before March 31. Here's how:

  1. Launch the PhotoShow Deluxe 4 application.
  2. Click the Share tab, then click the Export button.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to export your show to HTML, Executable File, or CD-ROM.

The exported version of your PhotoShows will allow you to enjoy your PhotoShows after March 31 with all the styles, transitions and music intact. If you'd prefer to just archive the individual photos from your PhotoShows (without all the styles), here's how:

  1. Launch the PhotoShow Deluxe 4 application.
  2. Click the Make tab, then click the Archive button.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to archive your photos to CD-ROM or hard drive.

Some of my PhotoShows are not on my computer - they are only on PhotoShow Circle. How can I archive them?

As of March 31, 2009, any shows you posted at PhotoShow Circle have been suspended, which means they cannot be viewed. You can regain access to these shows by upgrading to Roxio PhotoShow. If you do not upgrade by April 30, your online shows will be permanently deleted, and you will not be able to retrieve them.
